Corrections come first. If a code on this site is dead, telling us fixes it for everyone.
Updated 05 July 2026
What to write to us about
Corrections first
A dead code, a moved price, a changed event date. These get looked at before anything else because they affect everyone reading the page.
Questions welcome
If an answer you needed is missing from the guides, tell us. Questions that come in more than once get written up and added.
What we cannot do
We are not Chipotle. We cannot place an order, refund one, check your Rewards balance or resolve a problem with a restaurant.
Send a message
The form goes to the same inbox as the address below. Nothing you send here is added to a mailing list or passed to anyone else.
Direct email
Response times
Corrections are answered on the same or next business day. Everything else takes up to five business days. There is no phone line and no live chat.
For anything to do with an order
Refunds, missing items, allergen questions, Rewards account problems and complaints about a restaurant all go to Chipotle rather than to us. Their support runs through chipotle.com, and they are the only people who can resolve any of it.
Before you write
The questions page answers the most common ones with real numbers, and the redemption guide covers the seven errors behind almost every failed code.
What happens after you write
Every message is read. This is what each kind leads to.
| Reason for writing | Typical reply time | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Report a code that stopped working | Same or next business day | The offer moves to the expired list and the page is corrected |
| Report a price that has changed | Within two business days | National averages get reviewed against the reported figure |
| Ask a question the guides do not answer | Within two business days | Repeat questions get added to the guides and the FAQ page |
| Point out a factual error | Same or next business day | Sourced corrections are applied and the source updated |
| Advertising or business enquiry | Within five business days | Handled separately from editorial, which stays independent |
Why corrections matter more than anything else here
Promo codes are capped. A code can be issued with a redemption limit and stop working an hour after it was checked, with no announcement anywhere. No amount of internal checking catches that faster than the first reader who tries it and finds it dead.
That makes reader corrections the fastest signal this site has. When a code is reported dead it moves to the expired list on the homepage rather than being quietly removed, so the record of what stopped working stays visible. When a price is reported as significantly different from the national average, the average gets reviewed rather than defended.
If you are reporting a code, the two useful details are which code and what the screen said. The exact error message separates a regional lock from a cap from a minimum order problem, and each of those means something different for everyone else reading the page.
What makes a report we can act on
A message saying a code did not work tells us something is wrong. A message saying TRYBYOC returned not available in your area on a Chicago account tells us the code is regionally locked, which changes how it gets described on the site for every reader after you. The difference between those two reports is about fifteen seconds of typing.
Four details carry almost all of the signal. Which code you tried. The exact wording on screen, since Chipotle returns different messages for an expired code, a regional lock and an unmet minimum. Roughly where you are, because market matters more than anything else in this category. And whether the account was new or had ordered before, which is what separates a first order restriction from a genuinely dead code.
Price reports work the same way. Telling us a chicken burrito costs more than the figure on this site is only actionable with the city attached, because the national average is built from a range that runs from $8.30 to $12.10 across US stores. A single high reading is expected. A pattern of them means the average needs revisiting.
Things worth writing in about that people rarely do
A promotion that ran in your market and is not on the deals calendar. Regional campaigns often never reach national coverage, and those are exactly the entries the calendar is missing. A restaurant that does not participate in Rewards, since licensed locations inside airports, stadiums and campuses sometimes sit outside the program and there is no public list of them. A birthday reward or Freepotle drop that behaved differently to what the guides describe, because program terms shift without announcements.
Corrections to the guides themselves are equally welcome. If a figure is stale, a mechanic has changed, or an explanation reads as confident about something that is actually uncertain, saying so improves the page for everybody. A source link makes it faster to act on, though it is not required.
What we will not do with your message
Your email address is used to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. It is not sold, shared or passed to any third party. If you would like the correspondence deleted after we have replied, ask and it will be. The privacy policy sets out the whole picture, which is short because this site collects very little.
We also will not publish your message or your name anywhere on the site. Corrections show up as a changed page, not as a credited comment, since this site carries no comment system at all.
